On arrival at the Chiltern Surgery the reception staff will direct you to the treatment room upstairs (lift available). You will find a small waiting area outside this room where you can relax and Nerys will come out and get you at the time of your appointment. At your first session Nerys will start by asking you some questions about your symptoms which will help her identify the problem. You may then be asked to remove certain items of clothing to expose the affected area (you may want to bring shorts) and Nerys will perform a physical assessment including functional tests and a thorough examination of the affected area. She will then suggest a treatment plan, discuss it with you and proceed with your consent.
Nerys can also offer a full physiotherapy service in the comfort and convenience of your own home with all of the treatment modalities she would use in the clinic and a portable treatment couch.
